| Networks, Complexity, and Relatedness Inquiry and learning into social networks, organizational network analysis, and the relationships among people and systems in complex organizations and networks. |
| Friday, April 10, 2009 Networks and Learning A local colleague and Boston KM Forum friend, Maya Townsend, has just published a terrific article in Chief Learning Officer magazine: Leveraging Human Networks to Accelerate Learning. Maya interviewed me for the article, and I'm pleased to be quoted along side of Karen Stephenson, one of the pioneers of organizational network analysis. Comments:
I've always thought it curious that networkers call some people 'gatekeepers' while analogous term in computer networking is a 'gateway' (also known as a router).
Thanks, Patti! I thoroughly enjoyed our interview. There was so much interesting content in there that I had trouble pulling out just a few tidbits. Looking forward to quoting you again. :->
